wow, what a rainy mess today! seriously! barely got the boat out before it poured. i caught zero fish, just spent the day dodging raindrops. probably should have stayed home. but hey, you never know till you try, right? next time for sure!
cloudy & cool today. didn’t catch much, just one little perch that i threw back. at least the wind was low, so that was nice but it wasn’t really a great day for fishing. I guess it happens! planning a big trip later this month!
went to occoquan in the drizzle. caught a couple of nice bass again while it was still cloudy. just used my texas rig with a worm. nothing major but it was fun. the rain made it kinda peaceful even. looking forward to the next trip!
another rainy day, not ideal. but hey, i went out with the rain gear on. caught 1 big catfish, like 6 lbs. thought it was a log at first! used some smelly bait that i had in the fridge. water temp dropped, fish were sluggish but still hooked one. yay me!
wow what a washout today. heavy rain the whole time! I still managed to haul in a couple of stripers, but man was it tough! using spinnerbaits made it easier to keep the lines in the water, but my gear got soaked. fish weren’t jumping but if they could have, they were! lol
