finally got a good day on the 24th! partly cloudy and cool, i managed to reel in a nice 2 lb bass using a crankbait. wind was strong but the fish were biting! awesome to be back out and doing what I love, can’t wait for the next trip!
went out on the 21st and man it was cold and wet! didn’t catch anything which was kinda a bummer. wind was crazy strong too, felt like i was fighting the elements more than fishing. hopefully it gets better soon!
another rain day on the 14th but I gave it a shot anyway. only caught a tiny perch, like maybe 8 ounces? lol. the wind made it tricky too which didn’t help. oh well, gotta keep trying right?
ugh what a washout! we tried fishing on the 8th but heavy rain just wouldn’t quit. barely made a cast before we just packed it in. hoping for better luck next time, at least the fish gotta be hungry after all this rain!
hit the lake on thursday, weather was pretty overcast. caught a few pike around 3-4 lbs using a spinnin’ lure. didn’t get a lot of bites tho, think they were a bit lazy that day. still enjoyed being out there, can’t beat fishing!
