Hello Everyone, We just wrapped up our open two day trip. Local fishing has been really tough and was no exception on this trip. We hustled, got the boat ready and departed from San Diego quickly, so we could maximize our fishing time on this two day adventure. Although we got on the grounds very quickly and were fishing fast, it still was tough. There was a lot of searching, scouring, and moving around to try and find some action. Our persistence eventually paid off when we found a couple kelp pattys with some great Yellowtail fishing. It was wall to wall action. Just what the doctor ordered. Everyone had a chance to pull on fish and get introduced to the chaos that is offshore kelp patty fishing. Through the intense action we also managed to land a beautiful Dorado, that would later take jackpot. A very trying couple of days, however we did manage to piece together some great action for our anglers. Looking forward to next year! We depart on our Emerson and friends 5 day next! Steady sonar stops for our 30 anglers produced 104 yellowtail from 12-20 lbs. 40 lb mono on a 20 or 30 size conventional reel and a yoyo jig was the most productive. Trips are filling up fast for this season. Make those resos

Capt Mike Pritchard from the Tribute letting us know they still have a few spots left on tonights 1.5 day trip departing out of Seaforth landing departing at 8pm. Looks like the weather will be great this weekend, there have been some yellowfin around we know where the Bluefin are and they should start biting at any given time. Hello Everyone, Today we had incredible Striped Marlin fishing! Everyone hooked one, and at one point the crew counted 20 marlin hooked up, out of 22 people. Simply wide open. In addition to the Marlin we were able to land a few nice Grouper and Tuna. We will make a move in the night and hopefully be in Tuna and Wahoo Country tomorrow. Will report then, Team Supreme

The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego,CA checked in with us today:

Strung together a lot of short stops and ended with 45 yellowtail.

We started in the rain, loading passengers and loading bait. Now we're full steam rolling down in nice weather. There is reports of bad weather down below but we're traveling the correct direction for it not to effect us. We hope this trip is in perfect time with the perfect weather. We'll most likely start the trip off with an afternoon of yellowtail fishing before we decide on where we're going from there.
