Captain Ryan Bostian called in to report the totals for today's trip to the Coronado Islands. We had 45 nice sized yellowtail. Please bring your 40 or 50 pound outfits. You can book online at Seaforth Sportfishing. The boat is departing again tomorrow at 5:30 AM. Let's go fishing!

Captain Mike Pritchard called in this morning at 10:41 with an update from the Tribute. So far we have 130 Yellowfin Tuna and a couple Bluefin Tuna. We are running another trip departing on Monday. The season's fourth 300-pound tuna arrived November 29 aboard Polaris Supreme with owner-skipper Tom Rothery at the helm as the 90-footer docked at Fisherman's Landing. The trip was 13 days for the boat and ten for the anglers who flew home from Cabo, and was sponsored by Rothery's partner Tom Pfleger, who heads PIER (Pfleger Institute of Environmental Research). A small group of 14 anglers including Pfleger was aboard.

Myself and the crew would like to thank @relentlessboat for making our groups first fishing trip a success. Many large schools of yellowfin were passed around the fleet.

The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego,CA checked in with us today:

32 yellowtail. Still good sign of yellowtail around but they definitely felt used and abused after the busy weekend. Back at it tomorrow hoping for an attitude adjustment.

Just got a call from the boat. They have 23 yellowtail on the boat so far.

Ryan Bostian called in with this report from the Coronado Islands, "Today we went out with 17 Anglers and we are coming back to the dock with 44 Yellowtail. These Yellowtail are nice sized fish, 15 to 30 pounders."

They are biting the fly lined the baits today. You want to bring down your fly lined gear, your yoyo gear all your Yellowtail gear including surface irons.
