hit up the nanticoke today, was overcast but managed to find some good spots. ended up catching a few bass on a crankbait. it was chill, just me and my buddy relaxing by the water. can't wait for more days like this!
not the best conditions today, heavy rain made it tough. but hey, I pulled in a nice 6 lb catfish! had to switch up my bait, went with chicken liver, and it did the trick. still fun even in the rain!
went back to the river after a break! caught some sunnies and a nice crappie! weather was warm, and the patchy rain felt good. used a bobber with worms. gotta love spring fishing!
nanticoke is still producing! got to the riverside in the afternoon, rain kept comin down but I got 3 smallmouth to bite. 1 was a keeper! using jigs under the overhangs, worked really well. feelin good!
wow, today was a wet one! went out despite the rain, and boy it was worth it! landed a huge striper, like 8 lbs! used a topwater lure, really got him to bite. soaked but happy!
