After an excruciating day looking for tuna and not finding any we decide to bail out and we were rewarded late in the day with some really large dorado. Had a lot of fun pulling them in. The weather started out crappy this morning but turned nice later in the day.

The Tribute out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego, CA checked in today with a wrap up from a 1.5 Day trip. 33 anglers finished with 1 Bluefin Tuna and 51 Yellowfin Tuna.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-24-2016 As reported yesterday it was a very tough day fishing. We spent the whole day stopping on spot after spot after spot. It got to a point where I thought maybe the passengers didn't think we were really seen fish. One of the things we noticed was where the yellowfin tuna was hanging out, even though it didn't bite It Turns out it was good Intel for today. It did pay off this morning, we ended up shutting down right at daylight on a really nice school that stuck with this until after lunchtime. The grade of fish was 35 to 80 pounds. We hung with it for about another two hours and it just wouldn't bite. After about three hours of searching we finally found where the fish had moved to while we were drifting all morning. We were rewarded with another afternoon bite equal to what we caught in the morning we ended up with a fantastic day of quality, I say quality yellowfin tuna. We also had in the mix by half a dozen nice grade bluefin tuna. We are heading in and going to drop off our Joe Beck charter and pick up Beverly and her group. Captain Ryan Bostian called in today after 2 PM with an update from the San Diego. Today is my day off and Cameron is running the boat. We are up to 80 Yellowtail. We are having light loads even though the fishing has been great. Most of the fish medium grade with fish up to 25 pounds too!

This trip had a little of everything. (1) stressed out captain because he thought we might get skunked. (2) line shy, finicky tuna that would only bite light line. (3) Wide Open, heavy line eating, 45 going, madness. (4) a really cool shark that hung with us while we caught 198 yellowfin tuna.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-29-2018 Today is what I would call a book end day! We woke up in the dark to great fishing on yellowfin tuna and yellowtail. Midday scrounge around for virtually nothing. In the afternoon they started biting again and went into the dark! We should have just took naps from 10 in the morning until four in the afternoon! It was a great day of fishing. We had great weather all day and are looking forward to tomorrow. Wish us luck Team Supreme

Captain Aliyar Nabi called in this morning with a wrap up report from the Pacifica out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. We just got back this morning from our 1.5 day trip. The Bluefin Tuna fishing continues to be excellent. We ended up with 52 Bluefin Tuna for our 26 anglers. We had some really nice fish between 150 and 190 pounds. We also caught some in the 12 to 45 pound range. The flat fall fishing at night produced 40 fish.
