cloudy day fishing today. didn’t have high hopes but ended up landing a nice 6 lb catfish! used some stinky bait i found at home, and wow it worked! water was cooler but fish were biting. good vibes all around, can't wait for next trip!
OMG what a day at the lake! sunny skies n clear water! caught 4 trout, and the biggest was a nice hefty 3 lbs. used a simple spinner this time, and it did the trick! wind picked up but it was all good. gonna try again soon!
fished los vaqueros today, partly cloudy but warmed up to a nice 23 degrees! caught 6 bass, biggest was around 5 lbs. was using a red crankbait, they were just hungry! wind was a little strong but it felt good. great day on the water!
overcast again today, but still managed to snag a couple of nice trout. they were biting on the orange power eggs. got a lil cold near the end, but still had a blast! brought the dog along and he loved it too. hoping for better weather next time!
what a beautiful sunny day at los vaqueros! we got there early at sunrise, hit the shoreline with some topwater lures. caught a nice 4 lb bass and a couple smaller ones. wind picked up later but it just added to the fun. gotta love spring fishing!
