ahh man, what a cold day. the temperature dropped and the wind was rough. only got a couple of bites but nothing to show for it. was out there with my buddy, just enjoyin' the time even if the fish weren't cooperating. better luck next time i guess!
today was pretty dead at Chabot. overcast and chilly, only got one small trout. i fished from the shore with some corn but the wind was real strong. started to rain a bit too, so i packed it up early. might try again next week.
bruh! overcast again, and the wind was crazy. I swear it was like a wind tunnel out there. couldn't catch anything at all. tried everything! no bites, just a couple of snags in the weeds. still, just chillin' by the lake is worth it.
Went fishing again yesterday, weather was super overcast which is kinda my jam. Only managed to reel in 1 bass, about 1.5 lbs, but it was a fighter! Used a spinner rig, and honestly, it was just nice to be out on the water again.
sunny day today at the lake! i was out there early and caught a couple of nice 3lb bass on a crankbait. fish were super active in the morning. it was so nice to feel the warm sun after all that bad weather.
