second overcast day in a row, caught two rainbows on power eggs! they were biting slow but patience paid off. left with 2 limits by 11 am. guess the fish were feeling a lil shy but we got lucky today!
another overcast day at del valle, but landed a nice 4lb catfish! used some shrimp and it was worth it. everyone else was complainin about slow bites. had a peaceful day tho, just me and my rod. love this lake!
man it was windy today! clouds rolled in hard, only managed to catch one small bass on a crankbait. not what i was hopin for, but hey, at least i got out there! might try again when the wind settles down.
went out in the late afternoon, partly cloudy vibes. caught a couple of smallmouth bass on a topwater popper! they were super aggressive today, was awesome to see them jump. total of 4 bass, biggest maybe 3lbs. my best day so far this month!
cloudy day but the fish were hungry! i landed 3 nice catfish, biggest was about 6lbs. all on cut bait near the coves. wind picked up but it was still a solid fishing trip, can’t complain! wishing for sunshine for my next outing.
