hey everyone, wow what a day out on the water at laramie! went out this mornin' around 6, the skies were partly cloudy and the wind was a bit crazy, felt like 30mph at times lol. but i was determined! had my trusty old rod with a 10lb test line and a couple spinners. was casting around the lily pads and bam! got a 4lb rainbow trout! it was a beauty. kept trying for more, ended up with 3 more decent sized ones by noon. the weather was warm too, around 20°C, perfect for fishin'. just a lil windy but honestly made it more fun. can’t wait to hit the water again soon, tight lines everyone! 🎣
