Laramie River Fishing Report

what a day! little thunder in the distance but it didn’t hit us. I managed to land 2 solid browns and lost a bigger one at the bank. using my favorite fly patterns today, made for an exciting morning. if the weather keeps up, we’re gonna have some great fishing soon!

had a bit of rain today but it didn’t stop me! got to try out my new ultralight setup, and wow! caught a handful of fish, biggest was about 3lbs. they were hitting on small spinners, fished the riffles near the bridge. can’t wait to go again!

back out at the river after a few rainy days. caught a nice fat 2.5lb rainbow on a powerbait! it was pretty chilly but around noon, it warmed up a bit. the water’s looking good! I hope to get more on the next trip.

fished the Laramie today in overcast weather, got a few bites but nothing big. the wind was brutal, had to keep my hat on tight! saw some locals pull in some nice fish, but I was stuck with a small 1lb trout. still a lovely day to be on the water!

man, what a soggy day! rain kept coming down and I was soaked, but hey I caught 4 little brookies. used some worms. they were hitting pretty good in the deeper pools. I loved the sound of the rain on the river, felt kinda peaceful even tho I was drenched.
