man, rain just keeps coming, but we had fun! my buddy and I went out and caught a couple of small bass. not much action, but we tried different lures! just being out there chatting was worth it. let’s hope for some clear skies soon!
went back out to west point, patchy rain was happening but I got lucky! caught 2 nice catfish, both around 3lbs! using stink bait this time, worked like a charm. felt great to reel some in while it sprinkled!
finally got a sunny day at the lake! we caught a bunch of nice bass, biggest was 3lbs! I used a topwater frog and the action was insane! felt good to be out in the sun after all that rain. gotta love spring fishing!
went out again and it was pretty wet, but had my rain gear on! caught 4 nice bream, all around 1lb, pretty tasty! using worms on a bobber, just the right spot near the docks. still enjoying the time on the water!
today was a washout for sure! we were out there braving the rain. caught a few bass, but nothing over 2 pounds. using senkos, but they were just nibbling! still nice to be out though, even if the weather was a bummer!
