lake roosevelt Fishing Report 2025

Good evening everyone, Today we did some inshore fishing. Conditions were not favorable, not a lot of current left the fish very unwilling. However were able to scratch together a day of nice rockfish, Sheepshead, and a variety of other fish. Including the inshore trifectra: Yellowtail, Halibut, and White Seabass! A nice day to get out of the weather! We are headed back down to try for big bluefin tomorrow! Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Aug. 24

Good evening from the Polaris Supreme. We're just starting off with our two week span of 1 1/2 trips. The first bait loading didn't go too swell. It looked like a rave party in the crowder when we loaded it. All sorts of fun colors with the silver shiny glitter(scales) being the dominate color with red coming in a close second. It is what it is. Hopefully we find something to use it on early tomorrow because I'm not so sure they will be swimming come lunch time. After that they'll just have to bite the dead bait which I have seen the yellowfin do countless times before. So here we go, Prime Ribbing it now, some z's in the future and then fishing it tomorrow.

 

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-12-2016 Good afternoon guys and gals, Polaris Supreme checking in. We arrived to the spot early this morning and the big yellowtail started biting right off the bat! We were catching them on fly line baits and surface irons primarily. It was exciting to watch these fish swim up to the surface irons and bashed them out of the water. At times LB, the charger master's son, could not go two casts without getting followed or bit on the surface iron. We had a steady 2 to 3 fish going, at times more, until about 9am. We were still hooking fish but we got word from one of our code boats that there is some pretty good yellowfin tuna fishing going on within our reach. So we have now decided to go on the hunt for yellowfin tuna. We have good weather for it! Wish us luck, Team Supreme

We had a nice afternoon hooking fish landing was okay lot of tackle failures
and losses to the sharks! But we still managed to put a nice afternoon
together. It's absolutely a beautiful grade of fish! Most of the anglers
hooked for five of these fish! We are having to fish the 30 and 40 lb. test
to get a bite here. Not ideal for getting the larger Tuna away from the
sharks. Hopefully they bite heaver line tomorrow!
 

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-30-2018 We changed locations last night to some new country. It paid off very well! We started off the morning with excellent quality yellowfin tuna fishing 25-40 pounds. By 10 oclock we where looking for Wahoo the rest of the day and scratched fairly well! We have had good weather but this afternoon it is starting to turn. It looks like it's going to be choppy day tomorrow. Sea you then, let you know how it goes. The Polaris supreme crew!

Captain Jodie Morgan called in from the Apollo to let us know they have 70 Bluefin Tuna (up to 50 pounds) as of 10:25 AM. The Apollo is one the first day of a two day trip. The Apollo is current booked solid with charters but we do sometimes help out charter masters with getting a few people. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-06-2016 Good Afternoon everyone, Today we departed on our annual Ranta 5 day. We cleared the point at 11 AM, topped off with a load of sardines, headed south in hopes of some nice august exotics. We have a tackle seminar scheduled for later this afternoon followed by chef Mikes world famous Prime Rib dinner. Finger licking good, cant wait! Until tomorrow, Team Supreme
