Captain Ryan Bostian called in this morning. We are operating 3/4 day trips everyday out of Seaforth Landing. The fishing at the Coronado Islands have been good for Yellowtail. We have also seen Wahoo at the Islands. A passport is required for all reservations for fishing at the Coronado Islands. After spending all day yesterday searching for yellowtail without success. Today we decided to put the feelers out and look at some new areas. After a couple hours of searching we found exactly what we were looking for. The yellowtail we found today were really active for about an hour. In one hour our 15 anglers managed to put 20 very nice size yellowtail on the deck. Our yellowtail today were caught on yo-yo lures, surface lures as well as fly lined sardines. Make sure you bring a bait rod to go with your yo-yo rod from here on out.

The Apollo has been fishing everyday now. They had great rockfishing today. Unfortunately, they did not catch any White Seabass. But they have been getting some. Listen to JJ's daily report. Next OPEN PARTY trip is April 10th.

Hello Everyone Today we got to wet our lines for the first time in a few days. It was tough fishing but we did manage to scratch up some very good grade Wahoo and a few good Yellowtail. The size may be right but the numbers are not cutting the mustard. We are headed to a new area tonight in search of better numbers tomorrow. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-07-2016 Hello everyone, Today was mostly a travel day. We spent it most of our time rigging up and getting ready for our 3:30 eta fishing time. In transit however we caught a rare glimpse of some Killer Whales around the boat and playing in our wake. A truly amazing sight seeing these animals in the wild, merely feet away from our spectating passengers. This does not happen often and we are excited to have seen the oceans ultimate predator in its natural environment. Fishing started immediately upon our arrival to our destination. Loads of life in the area. Ranging from bait, birds, yellowfin tuna, and yellowtail. From 3:30 until dark our eager anglers put together a Great afternoon of fishing on both Yellowfin Tuna and Yellowtail. A rare Killer Whale sighting and some nice fish on the boat is a nice way to start off our trip. We are eager to get back at it tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by, The Supreme Team

Captain Ryan Bostian called in late tonight with an update from their most recent trip to the Coronado Islands. We have been fishing in shallow water and it is creating a high causality rate. The majority of our fish have been caught on a fly lined bait. We recommend a short top shot of Blackwater Fluro. We are also catching some fish on Yo Yo irons and Surface Irons too. The majority of the fish are in the 20 to 25 pound class but today we did catch a few 10 pounders.
