Started our drift with no boats in sight. Ended our drift with the same.

10 nice Bluefin, lost a few. A very nice Yellowfin and Yellowtail on kelp near by.

Hello Everybody,

The reports will now be generated through the office as we are out of our Sat phone range. Our weather is good and we should arrive to the fishing grounds at 4 pm tomorrow, Saturday. The reports of excellent fishing have us all excited. We're just doing the normal stuff, and getting our equipment rigged and ready. Had a great lunch today consisting of the critters we caught yesterday at Alijos Rocks.

 We hit the yellowtail grounds today. Not until 9:30. I started looking at 0400 but we weren't there until 9:30. "There" is where we had some good tailing. There's not a whole lot to write about it. We were there, and they were hitting. Most everyone was dropping jigs down and winding them back fast to achieve there tails. Before lunch I was considering fishing yellowtails tomorrow morning before traveling all day to put us in position for tuna the following day, but when I went in to eat lunch, there were 10 fish in the box. The crew dropped them, when I came back out there were 3 in the box and everyone was leaning against the rail not fishing except 3 passengers and 1 of those had 1 hanging. I got the hint. They caught enough yellowtail and they want tuna now. So we'll be traveling all day tomorrow to put ourselves in position to fish bluefin the following day weather pending.

 The weather today was windy, but the further north we get now the less wind there is. It's a nice ride now.

Captain Mike Pritchard called in this morning at 10:41 with an update from the Tribute. So far we have 130 Yellowfin Tuna and a couple Bluefin Tuna. We are running another trip departing on Monday. Hello everyone, Today was our last day of fishing for our annual A.H.I 8 day trip. We fished the beach hoping that some yellowtail would be waiting for us. Although our time was limited we managed to capture some nice grade fish until we had to head for San Diego. The trip was a great success and now we are in for a long ride home. Even though the fishing was over, smiles were all around and we could not have asked for more. Great fishing, good company and amazing weather, this trip turned out to be one for the books. 51 anglers, 106 Yellowfin Tuna, 255 Skipjack Tuna. Saved by one stop again.

11 pass. 2 yellowtail 53 calico bass and plenty of whitefish and rockfish. Extremely light load for tomorrow.
