well, got out there today and rain hit hard! tried to catch something but it was just a washout. only got a nibble before the downpour. saw a few folks packing it up. still love being out there tho, even on a bad day. better luck next time!

fishing today was awesome despite a few clouds! caught a mix of bass and crappie, around 10 total. used jigs and they were hitting hard! the air was warm but nice with a light breeze. had a great time with friends. perfect end to the day with the sunset!

hit the lake before the storm rolled in and it was super hot! caught 4 nice catfish, used chicken liver and it was like a buffet for them. got all my gear ready and the weather was perfect till the clouds showed up. left before it poured. good day overall.

came back to nacogdoches after it rained and the water was warmer! i got a nice 5lb bass on a buzzbait. so stoked! the wind picked up a little but we found a good spot by the trees. felt like we were in the zone. can’t wait to go back!

went out on the lake today, it was chilly and the rain came and went. managed to get a couple of nice crappies on minnows. not a ton of action but enough to keep it interesting. recommend hitting the deeper spots where I was fishing! kinda fun despite the weather.
