this week was wild! between the rain and nice days, fishing was hit or miss. best day was today, caught 6 bass, biggest was over 5lbs. used a chartreuse spinner in the early hours, they couldn't resist! feels good to be out there, even with some rain.
what a day! got out on the lake before the clouds came in, managed to reel in 5 bass total, all around 2-3lbs. used a watermelon colored senko and they were biting like crazy! really enjoyed the overcast skies, perfect fishing weather!
hit up lake murray again today, weather was nice! caught my limit, all nice 3-4lbs bass! used topwater lures in the early mornin, then switched to some soft plastics. wind was a bit strong but made it fun. had a great day on the water!
finally got a break from the rain today! sunny and warm, but still a bit gloomy. landed 4 bass, all around 2-3lbs. used a green jig and it worked like a charm! fishing felt way better under the partly cloudy sky... had a blast out there!
yesterday was rough, rain shower after rain shower. had my trusty wacky rig with me and it paid off! caught a few small bass around 1-2lbs, nothing huge but kept me entertained. was nice sittin under the overhang of the trees watching the rain fall
