Lake Minnewaska Mn Fishing Report

so i went out on the 27th, overcast still but not too bad, temp was 16.6°C. didn’t catch much, just a few small perch but enjoyed some baitcasting practice. the fish were shy, but hey, that's fishing for ya!

went back to minnewaska on the 26th, it was cloudy but still nice around 17.4°C. caught a few small crappies, nothing big but fun to reel in. trying new lures paid off! felt good to be out on the water again.

the 17th was just chilly and overcast. i barely even bothered with the poles, just sat back and enjoyed some hot coffee. i think the fish were hiding from the cold, didn’t see a single bite. gotta wait for warmer days!

oh man, what a washout on the 16th! heavy rain made it tough, only managed to fish for a couple hours. temp dropped to 11.5°C, brrrr. didn't catch anything but i still love being out there even in the rain!

hit the lake again on the 13th, it was a bit overcast but warm. caught 2 decent bass near the rocky shore. used a crankbait, they were definitely hungry. i could feel some rain comin, but it held off until later. was a good day!
