Lake Bonham Fishing Report

foggy start at the lake but sooo peaceful! caught 3 nice crappies, really good eaters. used minnows for bait, they were hungry! would love to go again when the sun’s out, but enjoyed the quiet vibe.

fishing was decent today at lake bonham, partly cloudy but warm! managed to get 4 bass, all under 3 lbs. threw some chatterbaits around the docks, they were biting sorta slow, but still a good day!

sunny day on the water! caught a few nice channel cats, biggest was over 6 lbs. used chicken livers, my secret weapon! even with the wind, it was a chill day and the fish were active. loved it.

wasn’t sure about fishing today with the patchy rain, but we went anyway! got lucky and pulled in a nice 5lb bass and a couple smaller ones. used spinners, they were super effective with the wind picking up too.

hit the lake with my buddy under overcast skies, kinda eerie but the fish were biting! ended up with 6 solid bass, biggest was 4.5 lbs. we used some crankbaits, worked like a charm. good times!
