yo, today was dope! hit up laguna madre around 7 am, overcast skies made it chill but the wind was kinda crazy, like 20 mph or something. still, managed to pull in 5 reds, biggest one was like 25 inches and a feisty little dude. used my trusty corky and some live shrimp I got from the bait shop. casted near the grass beds where the water looked all murky and boy did that pay off! felt like I was in a fight but finally got em in. some locals were out too, everyone was pretty chill. by the time I left around 2, I was sunburned but totally worth it. let’s go again soon!
