Captain Mike Pritchard checked in tonight with an update from the Tribute out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay.  We had a nice day of fishing for our group of 33 passengers today.  We caught 4 Bluefin and 165 yellowtail (mexican limits).  We had to go almost 80 miles to go get some today. We go again tonight.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in this afternoon with the Coronado Island Report. Today the boat went out with Captain Taro at the helm. Today we had 91 Yellowtail. Yesterday he had 43 Yellowtail. And Thursday we had 70 Yellowtail. We are seeing lots of fish. On Saturday it was mind-blowing how many Yellows were at the Islands. They are biting the fly-lined sardines really well. Hi friends. Tough day for us here on the high seas. No sugar-coating anything today, it was a slow day. We saw multiple good schools of yellowfin but Tropical Storm John really has things screwed up down here. We only managed a few handfuls of yellowfin in the 12-35 lb. category along with a couple of nice bluefin and a few various bottom dwellers for our final tally. Like I said, no shortage of fish running around but they are just not cooperating all that well.

We're hoping for a banner day tomorrow as the weather is supposed to straighten out and be flat calm and sick hot. I was a hot little potato today even though it was rather windy and choppy. We can only hope tomorrow that it snows or something because it is going to be a scorcher. Bronzing isn't even an appropriate word for what we did today, we got down-rite ethnic with our tans today. My goodness it was hot. Speaking of hot, our team in the galley is hot. Schooler and Shawn, aka "The Dream Team" are just magnificent. Along with the world's greatest deckhand, they really are the heart and soul of this operation and I feel that it is a pleasure to not only be worthy enough to eat their creations but to also know them as people. Thank you, Schooler and Shawn, thank you for making my life so wonderful and all of the passengers too. You're so dandy and thanks for getting us fat.

Anyhow, our fingers are crossed for tomorrow and yours should be too. Pray for snow and lots of tuna. See ya.

Aug 10

Good evening folks. We departed today on Eric Rogger's annual 5 day trip. We took a while at the bait receivers. The bait they had wasn't all that bitchen. We took a couple lids that should do fine for the trip but I'm not so sure about the rest. Time will tell but it may turn on us. Hopefully we'll be able to use it tomorrow on big schools of bluefin before it turns solid red. We're going to start off looking for the elusive bluefin first thing in the morning and put in a day doing that. It's beautiful weather today and we're enjoying a great ride now and the passengers are enjoying the departure meal of prime rib and sides. Wish us luck

Hello everyone,

Today we finished with a Rockfish and Giant Lingcod bang. We had excellent fishing on big Reds and large Lingcod . Mixed in were a few large Yellowtail as well. A nice capstone to finish off a great trip. We will be in tomorrow and out for 8 days.

Good morning everyone, Today we tried for bear, we were going big or going bust! We had our sights set on these big Bluefin Tuna. The tuna were very particular on what they ate. If you were persistent with a nice lively bait over and over all day long you had a chance at a bite. Bites were few and far between but when if you got picked up it was a big one. We had two bites today and one of them bit our charter master Vernon Burkes bait. He was prepared and ready with the right gear, the right persistence mindset, and capitalized on his opportunity with a large Bluefin Tuna! Today it was nice to have a chance at these fish but we are going to try inshore tomorrow for yellowtail. Wish us luck! Team Supreme

Captain Ryan Bostian called in with a Coronado Islands update! We are wrapping up our trip at the Islands. We have 16 anglers and we have LIMITS of Yellowtail. The water temp have come up 4 degrees. Very good surface iron fishing and fly-lined bait too. If you are going to join us please bring a Passport.
