back to ky lake, the wind was wild but I still had a blast. caught a bunch of smaller bass on topwater poppers. the action was pretty good considering! always nice to be on the water even if it’s a bit breezy
today I hit barkley lake like a champ, warm temps and overcast! managed to reel in a big fat 5lb catfish, what a fight! used a simple nightcrawler on the bottom. caught a couple more smaller ones too, but that big guy made my day!
went back to ky lake today, weather was warming up and I felt good about it. caught a couple of nice stripers, they were biting on shad. felt like summer finally! had a blast even with a few raindrops here and there
hit the lake for some evening fishing after work, super windy tho! had my favorite crankbait out and finally got a 6lb largemouth! that was the highlight of my week! gotta love it when the wind helps bring the fish up from the depths
overcast skies today out on ky lake, didn’t catch much. I think the fish weren’t biting. tried a few different lures but only got a couple of small bluegill. gonna hit it again tomorrow, hoping for better luck
