kentucky lake Fishing Report 2024

Capt Mike Pritchard called in last night from the Tribute last night with an update, they were on day 2 of a 4.5 day trip. They arrived Colonet around 10 am, very good Yellowtail fishing from 18 - 28 lbs. We did have a lot of casualties and ended the day with 53 Yellowtail and probably lost just as many. The Yoyo fishing was the most fun, but we had a hard time getting them off the bottom with 50 lb rigs. So far today we have 25 Yellowtail, as the weather gets nicer we are going to head offshore. We will check back in again later.

Hello everyone, Today was our last day of fishing for our annual A.H.I 8 day trip. We fished the beach hoping that some yellowtail would be waiting for us. Although our time was limited we managed to capture some nice grade fish until we had to head for San Diego. The trip was a great success and now we are in for a long ride home. Even though the fishing was over, smiles were all around and we could not have asked for more. Great fishing, good company and amazing weather, this trip turned out to be one for the books. Hey everybody the voyager is running a open party 2 day trip this up coming weekend!

The season is still very much here and the fishing is excellent on Dorado, Yelllowfin, Bluefin, and yellowtail!! This may very well be the Voyager's last offshore adventure before it begins it's rock cod season. The ticket cost is $425 and this includes permit and bunk. We are limited load to only 16 passengers so please act quickly. Day 2 will be spent offshore as well, the fishing at the dumper has been exceptional for the BFT's!! And the better grade yellows!! 12-25lbs

Mike Pritchard called in with this report for the Tribute. "We found a kelp paddy right at grey light this morning. So far we have about 35 Yellowtail and 2 Dorado so far. We'll keep you posted as the day progresses."

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-19-2016 #2 Nice day on the Wahoo and fabulous weather. The sharks were gnarly Though. The Polaris Supreme Crew.

After a juicy prime rib dinner and a movie last night, the guys were fast asleep. Today after breakfast we did our tuna and wahoo fishing seminars. After lunch we spent the afternoon reading, leaders, rods, reels, and putting together a few spare gaffs. Our bait looks beautiful and the weather going down great. There is a couple of guys who couldn't make it this year that we already miss being around. Charlie we miss you doing laps. Hope your wife is doing well. And Jimmy, Javier said today would have been a great day for bean soup! Our evening consisted of chicken Cordon Blue, another movie and back to bed. Tomorrow we may do a little fishing for meals and hors d'oeuvres. We will let you know how it goes.
