hit the lake again today with some overcast skies. not the best day for big catches but i got 3 small crappie, around 1 lb each. used a light tackle setup with a bobber. it was relaxing, still a good day out on the water!
well, got out to kaw lake today and it was pretty patchy with rain but still had a good time. caught a few smallmouths, nothing over 3 lbs tho. didn’t mind the drizzle, made it feel like a real fishing adventure. cheers!
had an awesome overcast day! caught a ton of bluegill, like 20+! they were biting on worms. felt nice not to be in the blazing sun. the wind picked up a bit but it didn't bother me much. just enjoyed the chill day at the lake
man, today was just beautiful! bright sun at kaw lake after a week of rain. ended up catching a few nice largemouth bass, biggest was a solid 6 lbs! used a spinnerbait and they were hitting it hard. can't get enough of days like this!
drove out to kaw lake today, had to brave some heavy rain...ugh! caught 1 decent bass, about 4 lbs, but that was it. used some topwater frogs – they were not really biting, just a long wet day. maybe next time, hope the weather's better
