hit up the pier in hayward today, fog was thick but we decided to go for it. brought my light tackle setup with 10lb test and some shrimp for bait. honestly, it was a chilly morning, only 12 degrees, but we stuck it out. after an hour of casting, i finally felt a bite and reeled in a nice little halibut around 4lbs! my buddy caught a couple of smaller ones too, but mine was the star of the show lol. didn’t see many other folks catching much tho. wind picked up a bit later, around 20km/h, but the fog made it kinda eerie and cool. overall good vibes, would def recommend heading out in the foggy mornings! 🌫️🎣
