cloudy day on the 19th but still went out. only caught 1 lonely trout but it was 3 lbs! tried a new fly rod setup. not much action but I enjoyed the peace of the lake, you know?
went fishing on the 16th, had some light rain. caught 2 good sized bass, around 2 lbs. used soft plastics. wind was crazy tho, almost lost my hat at one point lol.
wow what a day on the 14th, it rained a lot but we got out anyway. biggest catch was a monster catfish over 5 lbs! was soaked but it was worth it, used shrimp for bait. can’t wait to go back!
went to hayward lakes on the 7th, it was partly cloudy and kinda chilly. managed to catch 2 pike, both around 4 lbs. used my trusty spinner, they were biting just before sunset.
5th was a blast! the sun was shining! caught a bunch of panfish. tried out a new jig and it worked like a charm! had a great time with the crew, laughs and fish all day!
