fished on an overcast day, didn't catch much but got one decent bass. used a topwater frog, they were kinda lazy to react tho. weather was chill but glad to be out. the water’s got a nice feel, guess some days are just slow. we'll get em next time!
had a good day out there, even though it was overcast! landed a few nice ones, biggest was like 4.5lbs. fished deep with some swim baits. felt the wind picking up but it wasn't too bad. always love fishing on cloudy days, lakes get nice and calm.
today was a bit rough. had moderate rain at times, caught only 1 small bass. used a wacky rig, but they just weren't biting much. saw some other anglers getting skunked too. oh well, better luck next time, right? the weather was just moody today.
what a wet day out on the lake... lucky to bag a nice 6lb bass in the rain! used a crankbait, they were definitely hungry despite the weather. got a bit drenched but hey, that’s fishing! water was warm and felt great. def would do it again in the rain!
another trip to harris chain, patchy rain made it tricky. came away with 1 solid bass around 3.5lbs, hit a buzzbait right at dusk. other than that, not much action. had a good time though, just chillin out there. hope it clears up next time!
