major downpour today! went out anyway, had my rain gear. surprisingly, hooked a few good bites! caught a nice 4 lb pike, totally made the rain worth it. the wind was howling but those fish were hungry! gonna keep at it as long as there's a chance. love the thrill!
today was straight up sunny, but man was the wind aggressive! we hit the water early, but the fish were a little sluggish. managed to catch one small bass, maybe 1 lb... tough day overall. still enjoyed the time on the boat though, can't let a breeze ruin my vibe!
another day at harlan with patchy rain here and there, kinda annoying but still had a blast. got a good hit on my spinner rig and pulled out 2 nice catfish, both around 3 lbs. the rain kept the crowds away, which was cool, felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves!
had a sunny day out on the water! couldn’t ask for better conditions. i was throwin’ buzzbaits and caught a nice 3 lb large mouth! it was exhilarating! ended up with 5 total, can’t complain. the wind picked up but that only made it more challenging. took some pics with the catch too!
partly cloudy day! took the boat out to my old spot and wow, what a fun day! hooked into a couple northern pikes, lost one but landed a beast at 4 lbs. used a topwater frog. just love that thrill when they hit! my friend caught a few too, great vibes all around!
