Last day was a washout, pouring rain made it hard to fish. Thought I'd get lucky but it was just one of those days. Caught nothing but some nasty weeds. Gotta say, I still had fun messing around with my buddies out there even if we didn't land anything. Next time will be better!
So, the rain kept at it today! Tried my luck on the Platte again and was soaked!😂 I caught a few smaller catfish and a couple of perch, but nothing too big. Still had a blast, just love being out there despite the weather!
Ugh, today was rough. Rain was heavy and I didn’t catch anything. Took my new rod and was really hoping for a big one. Just didn't happen, water was cold and murky. Better luck next time, I guess. At least I got out, right? 😅
Omg what a day! We went out despite the rain, thought it’d be a wash but nope! Caught a 6lb largemouth right off the bat with a spinnerbait. The rain made it tough but also kept the fish active. Just gotta keep trying, right? 🐟💦
Yo, cloudy day but still good fishing! Went with my buddy at around 6 am. The wind was crazy tho, had a hard time keeping the boat steady. Still managed to catch a couple of smallmouths, about 2lbs each. Jerkbaits seemed to work fine. Just gotta watch those gusts next time!
