went out bright and early on the 20th. man, the wind was rough but i got lucky with a few nice bass on a buzzbait! temp dropped to 12C but the fish still played nice. always good to be out there, even with the gusts trying to blow me off the boat!
sunny and calm day on the 17th! hit the lake in the afternoon, temp was pretty mild around 15C. caught a whole mess of bluegill using live worms. nothing big but they sure kept me busy! love those days when the fish are biting.
partly cloudy day on the 16th, wind was insane tho! like 39 km/h. slapped on my favorite spinner and just held on. got a nice walleye and a couple of pesky perch. kinda tough casting but hey, at least it wasn't a total wash!
had a little drizzle on the 15th but went anyway, caught a few trout, nothing huge but they were fun. used some power bait and they liked it. water temps were decent, around 18C. got soaked but the fish made it worth it!
yesterday was a blast! hit the lake early, sunrise was stunning. it was like 21C and sunny. managed to reel in a 5 lb. largemouth right off the bat with a topwater frog. felt like a champ! wind picked up later but it was all good. can't wait to go back.
