Capt Mike Pritchard from the Tribute letting us know they still have a few spots left on tonights 1.5 day trip departing out of Seaforth landing departing at 8pm. Looks like the weather will be great this weekend, there have been some yellowfin around we know where the Bluefin are and they should start biting at any given time. It's time to start thinking about the summer fishing schedule. We have a couple of opportunities to offer if you want to jump on a trip. First we have two spots open on a 5 day trip departing the morning of the 24th of May and returning on the 29th. The trip is limited to 10 people. This has always been a fun trip. With good signs of big tuna on the lower banks - perfect for our Mag Bay trips - we have some late openings due to cancellations.

Our first trip departs Mag Bay on Nov 27, returning on Dec 4 (Tuesday to Tuesday), and will fish 6 full days right in prime big fish waters.

Hello everyone, Today we had an exciting day. We landed 2 huge Bluefin Tuna. Both well over 200lbs. Looking forward to seeing how much these two weigh! We are fairly certain that the 200lb club jacket maker will be busy here soon! We will be in tomorrow at 0530, Team Supreme

Captain Andrew Viola called in today at 10:33 AM with update from the Pacifica out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay.  We returned this morning from a 1.5 day trips.  We had good action yesterday on the Bluefin Tuna.  We had a total of 45 Bluefin Tuna.  We had two Bluefin over 300 pounds (356 and 353).  We also had three Bluefin Tuna over 200 pounds.  Then we had about 12 nice fish weighing in between 80 and 180 pounds.  Late in the day we found a good school of 30 to 40 pound fish.   We had about about 25 of this nice fish.  It was good action right before the sun went down.  Good fishing and good weather.

Next few trips are overnights going for Yellowfin and Dorado.  Our next Bluefin trip departs on Monday night.

UPDATE: I just talked to Andrew and the 356 pounder is a boat record.

We departed today on Eric Rogger's annual ultra light load (19 passengers) 5-day trip. Eric always puts together a great group of anglers and this year is no exception. We have a couple of father daughter, father son pairs. This year we have had a few of trips go out with multi generations fishing together and as well as having a great time fishing, they are building great memories together. So we are on the hunt for fish. Our weather is ok. Not flat calm, but it is ok. Tonight chef Jeff pleased everyone with a delicious rack of lamb, with a honey mustard glaze on the side. To say we were disappointed with our results on this beautiful 20+ ft kelp would be an understatement. This sweaty Betty was located in the same water as yesterday’s small kelp that kicked out limits of dorado. Mother Ocean humbles us once again. 5 yellowtail, 2 dorado, 2 bonito.
