on the 26th, it was hot and windy, felt like a storm was brewing, but snagged a couple of decent size catfish! used shrimp for bait. they were biting hard before the thunder started rolling in. packed up just in time, but such a thrill! see ya next time.
the 24th was overcast and windy, but I managed to catch a nice 4 lb rainbow trout! used a small spinner, and they were aggressive. fished near the dam area. felt good to finally land a decent one. weather was nice despite the clouds. loving this place!
weather heated up on the 22nd, but I still got some action! caught two smallmouths around 2 lbs each using a crankbait. had a couple of rain showers that rolled through. overall, a solid day fishing, feelin good about my skills now, haha!
went out on May 21, cloudy skies didn't stop the fish from biting! hooked a nice 6 lb largemouth on a senko worm. felt amazing to reel that one in. the bite was steady in the shaded areas near the banks. took a few pics, such a good day!
weather was nice with patchy rain, but still got a good haul on the 18th. landed several bass around 4-5 lbs each! used a topwater frog and they just couldn't resist it. the wind picked up at times, but it was fun! ended the day with a nice sunset, perfect.
