back at wilson lake and it was pouring rain most of the day! but still managed to hook a big ol' bass, around 7 lbs on a crankbait. fought hard, man! guess the rain didn’t scare them off. worth the trip!
overcast skies didn’t stop me from hitting wilson lake! caught some more catfish, using stink bait this time. biggest one was about 6 lbs! wind was low, which helped. just chillin on the boat with snacks was great too.
wow today was a wet one! caught 3 decent bass, around 4 lbs each. the rain made it a bit tough but they were hitting topwater baits. had my raincoat on, good thing! gonna go back when it clears up.
rainy but I wasn’t gonna miss my time on the water! we managed to catch some bluegills, they were really feisty today. used a small bobber with worms, and they just couldn’t resist. had a blast with my buddies!
well, today was cloudy and chilly. not what I was hoping for. fished for hours and only got 1 bass, about 2 lbs. used my favorite spinnerbait but they just weren’t biting. still nice to be out there, but I dunno. need a better plan next time.
