Here’s the report and photos from Tuesday’s 2 Day trip: 41 Bluefin -28 from 60-90lbs -5 right at 100 -8 from 115-190 lbs 25 Yellowfin 20 from 25-40lbs 5 from 40-100lbs **Long drift all day. This big grade is biting the fin bait well. Bring your heavy tackle 60,80,100,130. The weather is improving so we posted a 1.5 Day trip for Thursday. Captain Ryan Bostian called in with an update from the San Diego. The water temp is up! The weather is gone and we were surprised by the conditions. We did catch 63 Yellowtail and are very excited to get back out there tomorrow.

Capt Mike Pritchard on the Tribute calling in a fantastic fishing this morning, we have over 100 Yellowfin Tuna kelp hopping around the temporary pens. We have seen lots of Dorado in the area putting on show jumping, although we haven\'t been able to entice any to bite yet. We still have lots of time to fish today, the fishing has been the best we have seen in years. Now is the time to get out, call the landing to check for available spots on upcoming trip. Ryan Bostian called in to give this report for the San Diego. "Today was our 1st Day at the Coronado Islands, after spending a month offsore. Today we went down to the Islands with 24 anglers and we're coming back to the dock with 32 Yellowtail. The Yellowtail we caught ran from 12 to 25 lbs. There are enough big ones in the mix to keep it interesting for sure. We caught fish on all 3 techniques today; flyline-sardine, surface iron and yo-yo lures. So if you are going fishing with us I'd bring three rods for the local Yellowtail fishing. Fly line sardine with a 25 or 30 lb. was probably the best way to get a bite. However, we did have plenty of fish on the lures.

"Com on down and see us, we leave the dock everyday at 5:30 AM. We'll be fishing these Yellowtail at the Coronado Islands as long as the fish are here. We saw some big beautiful schools today. Hopefully they stick around. We'll check back in again tomorrow.

Less flash, more RESULTS! Today we hit our stride. Pulling on fish hard to get them away from the sharks, in addition to that the conditions improved in our favor. We had less fish around us today but our landing ratio was much better. We were able to put together a nice day picking at quality Yellowfin. Ranging from 40-80 lbs with the occasional 100 lber. Great day overall.

We need a few more reservations to go out tomorrow. If you are planning to come out we need to know so we can go get squid.

We departed today on Joe Beck's 5-day charter. Good group of guys, good weather, now let's hope for some good fishing. Thanks, Tommy
