evergreen lake il Fishing Report 2025

Our private charter had passports and wanted to fish the islands so we enjoyed a day of stop and go action. They were rewarded with 73 yellowtail 68 bonito. Back offshore tomorrow.

Shortly after arriving on the grounds we located a small school of yellowtail and caught 2. We then proceeded to drive around for 2 hours and never found another school. A couple of rockfish stops in the afternoon assured all 30 of our passengers will be eating fresh fish.

Hello Everyone, Last night was a slower than the previous nights for tuna. In the morning we focused on Wahoo. We were rewarded with a couple stops for Wahoo and a handful of 20lb Yellowtail. We will be working up tomorrow. We will be in search of Yellowtail. Wish us Luck, Team Supreme

Hello everyone, The conditions for these Yellowtail are improving. It was a dramatic improvement today, the wind switched back to more westerly and the fish seemed happier with the change. We started our day picking at these Yellows until late morning. We then headed offshore to look for Tuna. Late in the day we found a nice foamer of Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna. We caught a few, both on the surface lures and the live bait with a torpedo sinker rig. We are hoping this tuna gets with it here soon. Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

Captain Mike Pritchard called in with a FINAL Wrapup! We found a kelp on the way back in with a bonus 25 yellowtail. We did find catch 30 Yellowfin Tuna under a school of Dolphin. Well Friday the 13th is starting out to be a great day for us. We have flat calm beautiful weather and are pulling in lots of nice big yellowtails. 40 pounders! There are also a lot of marlin all around us. Everyone is having a great time. We were treated to an awesome dinner last night of rack of lamb with a Bordeaux reduction sauce. Our new chef, also named Tommy has been wowing us with his culinary delights. He also made a lobster bisque that was simply the best. Well I have to get back on deck. There is still a couple spots open on July 28th and August 2 has one spot. We'll call in tomorrow.

Captain Ray Montera took out 39 anglers today. Final fish count for the day was 6 lingcod 4 sheephead 80 red rockcod and full Mexican limits of rockfish. If you enjoy bottom fishing this is definitely the time for you. As soon as the yellowtail show up the rock fishing will take a back seat.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-03-2019 We scratched out a few nice grade fish today. We had a couple grouper up to 40 pounds and a few hands full of 25 to 40 pound yellowtail. We have some great pictures of them but we were unable to upload them to the computer from our photo apparatus. We'll work on that and try to get you those pictures tomorrow. The weather and food is great and were hoping for a big hit tonight. I almost forgot we had two really nice 60 pound Wahoo to go with it. Be looking for their buddies tomorrow!
