hit up the river on the 22nd, cloudy and cool. still managed a few catfish and a couple of bluegill. used some bobbers and worms. really enjoyed just chillin by the water, can't wait to get out again!
cloudy day out, not much action. fished for a few hours and only caught some small perch. weather was cool but it felt nice just to be outside. gonna try again tomorrow!
fished again on the 18th, overcast and kinda chilly, but we found a bunch of crappie! used some live minnows and they were biting like crazy! ended up with a nice stringer, made for a great supper.
man, today was a washout. heavy rain from the start, only managed to catch one little dink. couldn't keep the gear dry with the wind too. but hey, a bad day of fishing still beats work!
tried fishing again after the rain, wind was crazy, but i caught a decent 3 lb trout. only got a couple bites but i was so pleased. could feel my line tugging like crazy. almost lost it!
