Andrew Viola called in with a mid morning update from the Pacifica out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego, CA.

We have half limits of Bluefin Tuna and a couple of nice Yellowtail and Dorado on the boat. We are stopped on a school right now and hoping to round off the count.

The Pacifica is back out tomorrow night for a 1.5 day trip fishing offshore for Tuna and Yellowtail. Departs at 9PM.

Fishing today was somewhat subdued. We gave Guadalupe a check to see if the tuna have arrived without much luck. We picked up 5 yellow fin and spent most of the day rocked by home guard yellowtail. Our weather is gorgeous in the lei of the island. We will be back offshore tomorrow for some hot kelp patty action. It's first call for dinner tonight. Sauteed shrimp with tomato, garlic and parsley. Capt Ryan Bostain checked in from the San Diego the 3/4 day boat out of Seaforth Landing to report that the Yellowtail are starting to bite down at the Coronados. Yesterday we had 96 Yellowtail and today we 114 Yellowtail for 30 anglers, come on down the are biting everything. We are getting them on surface iron, yoyo jigs, dropper loops and fly lining baits, the water is very nice and clean. When you come down make sure to bring your passport as it is required.

Hello everyone, Today we had an exciting day. We landed 2 huge Bluefin Tuna. Both well over 200lbs. Looking forward to seeing how much these two weigh! We are fairly certain that the 200lb club jacket maker will be busy here soon! We will be in tomorrow at 0530, Team Supreme

From 8:00 am till 4:00 pm we were either stopped on bluefin or driving towards jumping bluefin. When we pumped out the RSW we had 17 bluefin and 2 yellowtail. Flylined sardines on 25-40 lb with a size 2-2/0 bait hook was the top producer.
