east canyon Fishing Report 2025

Captain Ryan Bostian called in with an update from "The San Diego" out of Seaforth Landing. We have been fishing offshore for Bluefin lately but it is just not biting enough for us. So we are throwing in the towel! We will be fishing at the Coronado Islands tomorrow. Please be sure to bring your PASSPORT with you. Polaris Supreme trip report 11-25-18. We departed today on a six-day Guadalupe trip. We got out with a nice load of bait that we already had on board left over from last trip. We literally checked in our passengers and loaded and left. A nice early start! The previous seven days we were out for a private seven-day trip to go fish Wahoo! It was an absolute hundred percent success we came in a day early. Here are a few pictures of some of the folks in their catch. We will be out at Guadalupe Island by 10 o'clock tomorrow morning and looking to tie and to some hundred pounders. Wish us luck! The Polaris Supreme Crew.

Mike Pritchard called in with this report for the Tribute. "We had a very nice day on the water, we picked up 42 Bluefin. We do have 1 hang'n. Very, very good sign of tuna here today. We have very good scores and there is still plenty of daylight left. We'll keep you posted."

Hello Everyone, Today we targeted yellowtail.Unfortunately there was no current. The lack of current made fishing difficult. We did manage to pick off a couple of Yellowfin tuna and a few Dorado. In addition to that we caught some nice Lingcod and Rockfish in the meantime. We will spend our last day trying for that school grade bluefin. Wish us luck! Team Supreme

The Tribute checekd in with us today with 88 fat Yellowfin Tuna and 54 Skipjack for their angler’s today. Most of the fish came during a wide open bite first thing in the morning.

Today our 24 anglers landed 7 bluefin tuna from 70-85 pounds. First time anglers, seasoned anglers, captains, crewmen and all the way up to our office personnel. Nobody is off limits when it comes to the frustration and lack of sleep that a bluefin can create. However, if you stick with it, come prepared and keep an open mind. You will eventually be rewarded with a fish of a lifetime.

The morning started off right with steady tuna and yellowtail fishing shortly after daylight. We remained until 10 am when we pulled it and tried to finish off with some more wahoo. We had a few stops for a dozen skin and are now headed home. We have had a great trip with an outstanding group of anglers, excellent weather and delicious food.
