fished off the coast of Miami today, partly cloudy skies made for a chill day. got out early around sunrise, the water was around 82 degrees, which is nice. i was using my trusty live shrimp on a circle hook with a 20lb leader. the current was a bit strong but managed to hook into a few snappers – caught 4 keepers, all around 2-3 lbs! also had a big barracuda follow my line but he was just too quick. wind picked up later in the day, but it was all good fun. can’t wait to go again! pro tip: bring a cooler, you'll need it for the fish and drinks!
