hit the lake again today, light rain but i didn’t mind. caught 3 nice trout with my spinning rod and a fly setup. it was a challenge with the rain but had a blast. saw a few other anglers doing well too! always love the vibes at deweese, can’t wait to go back when it’s clearer
woke up to misty conditions at deweese. kinda eerie but also cool! got a couple of bites but only landed one small bass. didn’t let the weather ruin my day tho, just enjoyed being outdoors. I love fishing in the fog honestly, adds a lil' mystery to it! used a soft plastic worm
it poured down today at the reservoir, heavy rains for sure. I only managed one little guy but couldn’t stay long with the weather. the wind was a bit much too, around 16km/h. still fun to be out, just gotta know when to call it quits, right? hope for better luck next time
what a beautiful day at deweese! sunny as ever, not too windy either. I caught a really nice 3lb trout using a black and gold spoon. it was just me and a few other anglers around, very chill vibe today. saw a ton of fish jumping too, they were hungry! love this lake
man, it rained hard today! still, we went to deweese bc we’re hardcore 😂. managed to catch a couple of small perch during the downpour with worms. not much else was biting though, too wet & wild. my buddy lost a nice one right at the bank, but hey that's fishing!
