Hello Supreme Fans,
We started off our day fishing looking for yellowtail. It didn't take long for the first one to come aboard, But it was short lived so we pulled the pick and made a 6 hour move
which proved to be a good one! As the boat settled back on the anchor, We had several bent rods and the yellowtail charging the boat. The rest of the day we had steady yellowtail fishing until first call for dinner . During dinner we got the word that the yellowfin tuna were on the chew, and now we our on the hunt for them!

Here is a suggested tackle list for our 5:30 - 5:00 Coronado island trips for February and March.
(1) a yo-yo outfit, this outfit should be a 20 or 30 size reel spooled with 40 lb. monofilament. Any 6 - 8 ft. rod rated for 40 lb. will work good.
(2) Deep water cod rod. This outfit should be a 20 or 30 size reel spooled with 65 or 80 lb. spectra. Any 6-8 ft. rod capable of handling a 16 oz. sinker will work good.
(3) a 25 or 30 lb. live bait outfit. This outfit should be a 20 size reel spooled with 25 or 30 lb. monofilament. A 7-8 ft. Rod rated for 25-30 lb. will be perfect.
TERMINAL TACKLE.
An assortment of torpedo sinkers from 6-16 ounces.
A dozen rockcod hooks. We really like Mustad EZ baiters in the 10/0 size.
A pack of size 2/0 live bait hooks. We really like Mustad 94150
A couple of heavy lures. Salas 6x jr and Salas 6x in blue/white and scrambled egg are perfect.
Most of our trips we have been fishing deep water in the morning and shallow water in the afternoon. As soon as we see yellowtail the rock fishing will take a back seat.

Strong south wind made things interesting today but we’re able to find a lucky kelp in the bottom of the ninth. We managed our quota of green dorado and 16 yellowtail.

The Tribute out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego, CA checked in with us today.
290 Yellowtail, 28 Dorado, 20 Bluefin, 3 Yellowfin, some Skipjack and some bottom fish made for a fun and tasty Seeker sponsored 2 day trip!

Hello Everyone,
Today we had great Tuna fishing on the better grade fish. We were able to be selective and tag the Tuna between 20-40lbs. It was not wide open but we were able to pick for most of the day. We were even able to land one stand out 70 lber. An incredible fish in the mix.
We will be trying to fill in the cracks with quality Tuna, Wahoo, Yellowtail, and Grouper Tomorrow.
