Captain Ryan Bostian called in last night with an update from the San Diego out fo Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. Today we had 24 anglers catch 2 Wahoo and 52 Yellowtail. The fishing was very good. We did have lose 4 Wahoo. The grade on the Yellowtail was very nice. The majority of the Yellowtail was 12 to 20 pounds. Amazing fishing and very low pressure at the islands. I would not be surprised if we see some Bluefin Tuna. We can now keep Bluefin Tuna in Mexican waters. Hello Everyone, Another incredible night of fishing. Especially during the first half of the night. About half the fish were 20-40 lbs! awesome night fishing. During the day we had a few hits on Wahoo and another incredible Dorado Bite. Hoping for more Wahoo tomorrow. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego,CA checked in with us today:

Besides the air temperature it almost felt like summer today. Hopscotched schools of yellowtail all day long. Ended up with 102 yellowtail from 12-20lbs. Yo-yo jigs and dropper looped sardines worked best.

Wow, I think we have to pinch ourselves to make sure it's real. We had an unbelievable day. You could throw a bait in the water any time from day break to dark and catch a tuna. Some anglers released as many as 15 tuna in the 35-45 lb. class. We also scratched a few wahoo. After a delicious dinner of a veal shank, fresh asparagus and red potatoes all our guys and one lady went to bed very tired. Our weather is gorgeous and we are looking forward to another fantastic day tomorrow. Thanks for checking in. Tommy and crew P.S.                       Once again our day started off early with the kites going out at 0430 with high hopes of catching giant yellowfin tuna but it seem like the tuna just wanted to sleep in so by mid morning we put the jigs and went looking around, We found the wahoo and mid grade tuna striking our jigs the rest of the day, As the sun began to set we went into bait catching mode and caught a tank full of big bait, not much happen after that.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in with an update from “The San Diego” out of Seaforth Sportfishing. Today Cameron is running the boat. The big Bluefin have been missing for awhile but they have been found. We have one 119 pound Bluefin Tuna with 2 hanging. We are still fishing Yellowtail but we need to be prepared for the Bluefin.

For the Yellowtail we recommend 25 pound live bait rod.

For big Bluefin 50 or 60 pound bait rod. Use a 2o circle hook and if they are deep try a rubber band and a sinker to get it down. Also a Shimano flat fall has been working. Fish a Talica 12 or 16. Fill the reel up with spectra 65# or 80#. Then connect to a short 80 fluroucarborn leader.

We run every day but please be ready for fish anywhere from 5 pounds to 150 pounds. CURRENT SCHEDULE We are online and have open party trips everyday this week. This photo is from the about 2 weeks ago. Ryan will update us with current photos from today later this afternoon.

A pretty slow couple of days. We saw plenty of fish in tuna zone only finding one school that would react. We hit it a couple times before it scattered and we had to try and find something new. The next day we hit a couple of the shallows along the ridge. It was slow there too. We hooked a few marlin, a couple handfuls of dorado and a skin trolling around. We tried various anchor jobs for a few yellows here and there but we weren't going to get the job done there. We will be kelping tomorrow, way out far.

 Good evening everyone!  This here is just a teaser.  We're out for a  couple days and then we're dockside for a little.  You won't be reading steady emails for another week and a half or so.  I'm going to keep this short until then.  I'll explain all about our new electronics and things later when we have them more figured out.  For example I'd like to figure out how writing these reports can be more comfortable.  Nevermind I just figured it out.  This keyboard is cordless.  So how does it charge?  Good example there.  I wonder if I  can write this in bed?  Anyhow, we fished some today.  We got in the  zone around 5 and it wasn't boring.  We were pretty much always running on something until 7:30. There wasn't much meat to it though. 
 Just few fish spots mostly.  We have a yellowfin to show for it.  First tuna of the year!
We'll be in this zone tomorrow.  Give it all day and see how it goes.  We'll cover more ground tomorrow with 12 more hours to fish that's for sure.  I'll write much more later I promise.  I"m still figuring this computer out.
