Hit up Chetek this morning, overcast skies made it kinda nice not too hot ya know? We launched around 5:30am, had a little breeze going (thanks for the wind, made it easier to cast). Used my trusty old wacky rig with some green pumpkin worms. Caught a solid 4lb largemouth right off the bat! 🐟 Plus, a couple more smaller ones throughout the day. The bite slowed down after lunch, but I kept at it. My buddy tried some crankbaits but no luck for him. Ended the day with 5 bass total, which ain't bad at all. Sunset was pretty killer too, all in all a good day out on the water. Can't wait to go back!
