had a blast out at cherry grove today! got up early, around 6 am, and the sun was just peekin out, temp felt perfect. i took my trusty shimano rod and a box of soft plastics, figured the flounder might be hungry. fished near the pier and man, they were biting! i landed 4 flounder, biggest was probably around 5lbs, caught 'em on a chartreuse gulp! the water was nice and clear, little bit of wind but not too bad. packed a sandwich and chilled on the beach for a bit after. can't wait to do it again! maybe tomorrow if the weather stays this nice. tight lines everyone! 😄
