hit cherokee lake again, the rain was heavy for a bit but didn’t stop us. we caught some big catfish! my buddy got the biggest at around 8lbs. just using cut bait, was intense! overall a fun day despite the weather. still wet and wild out there!
what a day! went out on the lake and it was humid but nice, around 22°C. caught a decent 5lb bass! used a topwater frog and it worked like a charm. didn’t even care about the rain, that fish made my day! can’t wait for the next trip!
felt like fishing today despite the rain. ended up with a couple of nice size bluegills. used red worms and it was pretty effective! wouldn’t say it was the best day, but I love being out there regardless. it was around 18°C, still a nice time.
just got back from cherokee lake! it was cloudy with some light rain. caught a few panfish, nothing too big but they were biting! used a little spinner, and it did the trick. temps were nice tho, about 18°C. overall a chill day!
took my son fishing on the lake today, weather was kinda iffy with patchy rain. we managed to reel in 4 bass, all around 2lbs. used a green worm and it worked wonders. had a blast, nothing like fishing with the kiddo! can’t wait for next time.
