today was wild! blue springs lake had on and off heavy rain, made it tough to fish but we managed to get a few solid catches. used a buzzbait and scored a nice 6lb bass! always a thrill. headed home soaked but happy, can't wait for the next trip, rain or shine!

went out to blue springs for a short trip during another rainy spell. caught a couple of tiny bass but nothing to write home about. saw a lot of activity but couldn’t find the right bait or spot. sometimes it happens, but that’s fishing for ya. still had fun tho!

finally some sunny weather at blue springs! took the kayak out and it was beautiful. caught a bunch of small mouth bass, probably like 8 or 9. best part was the view while fishing. perfect day to chill outside and just enjoy nature. can’t wait to go again!

heavy rain today but i braved it at blue springs. wasn’t expecting much. ended up catching a few decent bluegills, not huge but enough for a nice dinner! the wind picked up big time but those fish were hungry. soaked to the bone but worth every drop! good times, man.

Overcast skies today at blue springs, perfect for fishing! I was using a spinnerbait and got a nice 5lb bass right off the bat! also had a couple missed bites. brought along my son and he was stoked to reel in a 3lb channel cat. good day all around, can’t beat that!
