one last trip before the week ends! patchy rain off and on but really didn't matter, caught a giant 6 lb largemouth! super stoked about it! using a black buzzbait was the trick. wind was strong but fish were biting hard! can't wait to come back!
overcast skies made for a cool day, i was out there casting away with my buddy. caught a good few bluegill and a surprising 4 lb catfish on a cork setup. weather held up great, just loved the feel of the cool breeze while fishing. can't complain!
fished through light rain today, still worth it. got 5 nice bass, biggest was like 5.5 lbs! used my new crankbait, paid off big time. the wind was a bit much, but we made it work. definitely love this lake, rain can't stop the fun
hit the lake again, weather was iffy but we gave it a shot. caught some nice hybrid bass on a spinnerbait, around 3 lbs each. felt like every cast was a tug! even got a little sun peeking through. it was super chill, just how i like it!
another day at blackshear, not much action this time. had some patchy rain, water temp dropped a bit. only managed a couple of small bream. but hey, a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work! still enjoyed the peace and quiet. planning to go back soon
