overcast and a bit windy, but i couldn’t resist going out. didn’t catch much, only snagged one 2lb trout but i was happy just to be out there. sometimes it’s more about the experience than the catch! bring on the next trip!
back to big creek after a few days off. cloudy again, barely any bites, but then i hooked a 7lb bass! i was stoked. fought like crazy, but my quantum reel held up. can’t beat these moments.

sunshine and good vibes! went to big creek with my buddy. didn't take long to land two solid bass, like 4lbs each! all thanks to my favorite black/blue jig. felt like summer even tho it was still spring. love it!
