bemidji Fishing Report 2025

Hello everyone, Today we fished the coast for Yellowtail. It was slow but the grade of fish was excellent. We are still working up the line. Hopefully we can end the trip with a bang tomorrow. Will Report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

Hello Supreme Fans, Today was our first day of fishing after two days of travel. We spent the morning trolling around for Wahoo which seem to have lock jaw. However the tuna wanted to bite, but they were not the grade we were looking for. So right around lunch time we made a 2 hour move which paid off for us. It was game on! biting Wahoo and tuna until first call for dinner was made. The grade of the Wahoo was excellent many fish were well into the 40 lb range even some pushing the 50 lb mark. What a way to end the day of fishing. We plan to stick around here tomorrow and try for these great quality Wahoo again. Also we still have a few spots available on our next 10 day. Captain Andrew Viola called in a bit ago with an update from the Pacifica out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. We returned this morning from a 1.5 day trip and the fishing was as good as it gets. We had limits of Bluefin Tuna and 10 Yellowfin Tuna. The Bluefin were mainly 18 to 25 pounds but we also had 5 or 6 fish in the 60 to 80 pound class. We did manage to catch two of the bigger models (150 and 170). We have a 1.5 day trip tonight with a few spots and an overnighter on Thursday. Come out fishing on the Pacifica.

The Dolphin III has been purchased by Mike Pritchard a veteran captain with a vast amount of experience.   Captain Pritchard has recently worked on the Legend and prior to that spent time working on the the Intrepid and Excel. The Tribute has moved to it's new home at Seaforth Sportfishing were it will be the primary open party overnight boat.
Captain Pritchard has renamed the boat to honor his mentor Bill Poole.   The boat was previously owned by Bill Poole and will be a fine edition to the Seaforth Fleet.

We gave it the Dark till Dark effort and came up dry. We did however see multiple very nice schools of yellowfin that were not interested in our hooks.

Some darn good action on quality Yellowfin once again resulting in 58 Tuna in the 18-35 pound range for our 24 Angler’s today.

Ryan Bostian called in from the San Diego with this report, "As it stands right now we are only about 30 miles from homw and we have about 150 Yellowtail on the boat, 6 Bluefin tuna & 6 or 7 Dorado. We've had good fishing here this morning. We offer these trips every day. If you'd like to join us call Seaforth Sportfishing at 619-224-3383."

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 07-28-2016 We finished up our trip today with some scratch yellowtail fishing all morning and then an afternoon of rock cod fishing, all in all a very successful day and trip. Thank you very much Mark Costello and fellow anglers for making it so. Were heading up in some beautiful weather and looking forward to our next group with Tom Chaparro and his limited load of only 18 anglers.We still have openings on our four-day trip after Tom's five day if you would like to come out fishing with us! We are hearing signs of yellowfin tuna that actually wants to bite. We are excited to give it a try here on Tom's trip. And no Mark Castillo group it's not the local stuff!
