Hello everyone, We had a fantastic day of fishing today. Great Bluefin tuna fishing. The fish were 20-40 lbs, and were biting extremely well. Great action from sunrise until 3 pm. Hopefully we have similar action tomorrow. We will be targeting Bluefin as well as Yellowtail. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Hello everyone We are wrapping up our Beck, Wagstaf and Emerson and Friends 5 day trip today. This trip the Joe Beck, Mal Wagstaf and Emerson and friends charters joined forces on this summer time five day trip. We had some great fishing on some great quality yellowtail. Most of the fish were well into the 25 lb class with some pushing 30lbs. The fish were up high and very surface oriented. They were being hooked on the fly line sardine and surface iron. It doesn't get much better than yellows boiling around the boat and chewing on the surface iron. We had very few small fish mixed in with these biting yellows, the vast majority were great quality fish. It was a great relief getting into these big biting fish after a few trying trips with tough conditions. The next leg of our trip was spent offshore and lead to fantastic kelp patty fishing. The kelps we found had great sized yellows on them school size tuna and also some trophy Dorado. We were able to top off our yellowtail count and mix it up with some Dorado and tuna as well. The water was blue, the fish were biting, and the weather was flat calm. Everything one would ask for during an offshore fishing day. Hi everyone, We will be fishing the Channel Islands out of Santa Barbara this weekend and we have space on a open charter sponsored by Berkley. These are always fun trips to be a part of there will be give aways and swag. The trip will depart from Sea Landing at 9pm on Thursday night and fish Friday returning Friday evening. The trip will target Shallow water rockfish and if there is some sign of seabass or halibut around we will give those a shot too. The trip is limited to 20 people and the cost is $200. Mike Pritchard called in with this report for the Tribute. "Captain Randy Kramer is running the boat today. He just called in with limits of Yellowtail, 7 Dorado and a handful of Bluefin for the morning. The weather is very nice and they are having good kelp fishing, with a good sign of Bluefin. So we'll keep you updated as the day goes on.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-01-2016 Good afternoon Polaris Supreme fans. Today we ended our Chaparro 5 day trip with a bang!!! We found plenty of kelps holding yellowtail and a few dorado which put smiles on all. It stared off early today with trolling team one setting out their rods and the mast-man up and looking. It didn't take long for our first kelp to come into view. As we pulled up to our first kelp and lines went into the water the yellowtail rushed the boat and and ate our baits. After repeating that several times we got what we needed for the trip. What a way to end the trip! Everyone is breaking down their gear and the crew is ready to clean the boat as we are now headed for San Diego. Gunny and the Supreme Team!

Today we went out with only 11 passengers. At the end of the day everybody on board had a full Mexican limit of rockfish. Our rockfish today were a nice mix of reds, salmon grouper, whitefish, sheephead and lingcod. The weather was absolutely perfect today.

Shortly after arriving on the grounds we located a small school of yellowtail and caught 2. We then proceeded to drive around for 2 hours and never found another school. A couple of rockfish stops in the afternoon assured all 30 of our passengers will be eating fresh fish.

In addition to the great Wahoo fishing last trip JJ was able to sneak a whole skipjack down below then to pull out this nice Grouper! Hell ya JJ!
