Today we scratched away at a nice grade of yellowtail. Our weather is calm and we had a fun day of island fishing. Thanks for checking in.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 11-11-16 Today we are going to start out our report by telling Carla Studley that her husband Tom Studley would like to tell her he loves her and has been happy to have been married to her for so many wonderful years. Happy Anniversary Carla and Tom! After writing that last sentence I just found out that Mark and Eve on board are having an anniversary today! Congratulations to you two also! Well on to fishing. I don't know where they came from I'm glad they did we just had a great day Wahoo fishing! What a great place to celebrate your anniversary for Mark and Eve catching Wahoo on board the Polaris supreme! At least you get the benefit at home Carla with Wahoo tacos Wahoo Almond Dean and what ever delicious dish you can come up with. We have great weather and are having a fantastic time out here we are hoping the Wahoo are going to stick around inside here like they were today, that would be fantastic to do this two days in a row! Bill Roecker spoke with Polaris Supreme owner-skipper Tommy Rothery as he was leaving his slip at 12:30 p.m. Tommy said and Fisherman's Landing spokesman Robert Falcon confirmed that the permits to fish Guadalupe Island for shark boats and long rangers have been obtained. The papers are being flown in from La Paz to Tijuana, and are expected to arrive at 1:30. They will be available at 3 p.m. today. One of four boats departing today, Rothery's Supreme will come back to pick them up, taking some out for the other three boats. The permits are good for two years.

We got a little bit of something throughout the whole day. Everywhere we went we got yellowtail, but no real bug hits. Our morning bite had great quality but not as many as yesterday. Our weather is still good because of the island. Tomorrow we will be in open water on patties looking for dorado, tuna and yellowtail. Great fresh yellowtail and shrimp scampi for dinner. Requirements: Someone that holds a 100 ton Masters Near coastal credential,
that has also have taken STCW 95 (Basic Training), and the Leadership and
Management class.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-15-2016 We started off the morning with a few strikes on sonar schools of yellowfin tuna. We thought we were on the right track but things soon slowed down to virtually nothing. A few of the guys were seeing schools up above us, big schools but weren't producing much more then we where. We went and check those out and it looks like there schools of bluefin with a little bit of yellowfin mixed in it of course the bluefin don't bite. We spent part of our morning looking at eight giant kelp patties for two bites on yellowtail which we lost. Right now it's about 2:10 we have 20 yellowfin on board and were wondering where in the heck they're all at. We have good weather and six more hours to look wish us luck. The Polaris supreme crew

Come fishing on our Seeker 1.5 day trip leaving tonight! Only a few spots left! 

The boys are loading up for the seeker 1.5 day leaving this evening. With a light load and gourmet meals it will surely be the most comfortable way to fish for these Bluefin.

Bluefin are in the crosshairs. Everyone is ready for action. Go get em boys!
